Profile
Daniella Peña is a product design leader with over 18 years of experience developing furniture and home collections across global markets, with a focus on manufacturing, sourcing, and scalable product development.
Her work sits at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and supply chain strategy. She has led product development across the United States, Asia, and South America, with deep expertise in materials, construction, and scalable production.
She began her career in manufacturing, managing finishing operations for high-end architectural flooring and millwork — a foundation that continues to inform her approach to materials, construction, and product development.
She went on to spend nearly a decade at ATLeisure, where she rose to Director of Design & Product Development. There, she led cross-functional teams, directed product strategy, and developed outdoor living collections for major retailers across North America, Europe, and Asia.
In 2019, she returned to Paraguay and founded Under The Bough, a design and manufacturing platform rooted in Paraguayan craft. She built the supply chain from the ground up, working directly with artisan groups and workshops to develop collections for the North American and European markets.
Her experience spans large-scale retail, custom product development, and artisan manufacturing — bringing together creative direction with operational execution. She is drawn to brands with the ambition to build category-defining work in furniture and home — where design direction, manufacturing knowledge, and commercial strategy are expected to function as one.
